Hey, thanks for following along!  I'm Michael, and together with my dad Andrew, we're attempting to build the world's most insane Triumph GT6.

Neither of us are engineers though, let's get that straight right now!  I went to college to be an Industrial Millwright and dad is a retired accountant.  It was his idea to get a project car, and the Triumph held historical significance.  In time it became clear that millwrighting wasn't the path for me after all, but the skills I learned certainly helped improve the quality of my work.

The channel started as MrRcFanatik in 2012 before the name change to Fanatik Builds in 2016, and besides moving on from "radio control", the name is significant in other ways...

I've always just enjoyed being creative; From art and Lego as a kid, to 3D modeling, videography, fabrication and playing music as an adult.  It doesn't really matter what I am creating at the moment, I just want to do my best and honour God.

Fanatik Builds then is a place where I can share my joy of building - and while the Triumph has been our focus for years now, after it's done, who knows what will come next.  Hopefully, your passion for building/creating will keep you around to find out!
